Asset Revitalization Solutions LLC acquired a portfolio worth about $18 million in commercial real estate loans, according to an announcement on Thursday. The loans are secured by properties in Jacksonville, Fla. The company did not disclose the seller. ARS is opening an office there as part of deal. “We are enthusiastic about the long-term prospects in Jacksonville and look forward to making additional investments in Florida,” ARS President Cathy Vann said. ARS is an asset manager for institutional investors focused on purchasing sub and non-performing commercial real estate mortgages and other distressed bank assets. Firm principals have purchased and/or managed more than $15 billion in distressed financial assets.
